Brittany Jones earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Accounting from Morgan State University in 2010 and a Masters in Science degree in Accounting Information Systems from Strayer University in 2012, but these two degrees combined didn’t give her the satisfaction or joy graduating from Empire Beauty School in 2015 did. 

Ever since she was a little girl, doing hair was something that she loved to do. Brittany could always be found practicing her hair art on friends, family members, folk in the neighborhood and pretty much anyone that would let her do their hair. By the age of 13 she had gained a skill set and reputation for doing really good box braids and plaits, and it was actually this remembrance of how and why she got started that made her want to recommit and rekindle her love affair with hair. 

Though good at what she did, crunching numbers in her accounting career made her feel robotic, boxed in, stagnated and sad. And though her accounting jobs guaranteed a sizeable income that allowed her to live comfortably, doing hair is what gifted her with peace of mind and a sense of accomplishment. Doing hair made her smile from the inside out. Doing hair manifested her creative juices. Doing hair made her feel whole. Doing hair made her feel free, so in 2017 Brittany stepped out on faith, became a full-time cosmetologist and hasn’t looked back. “If I’m going to be broke I’d rather be broke doing something I love rather than something I hate for someone else.” 

To date, Brittany can be found bringing damaged hair back to life by putting life back into the muted manes of beautiful crowns that landed in the hands and chairs of those who “do hair,” but lack the skills and or desire to really do hair care. 

Brittany's specialties are pressing out natural hair that still bounces back to its natural state and coloring hair while maintaining its health and shine. 

Brittany's passion is teaching her clients how to take care of and maintain healthy hair. 

Brittany's mission is to restore confidence in her clients one appointment at a time.
